Shedding A LOT

my adult female ball python recently underwent a shed about 2 weeks ago, she even had a bit of unshed skin behind her head that she wouldn't let me get to. Now she is getting that dull color skin and her caps are turning blue. Is it possible for a snake to have "back-sheds"? She was not well taken care of before me so I'm starting to wonder if eating regularly and being taken care of is making her system go into hyperdrive now.
