Depending on when he last defecated... it could be tomorrow or it could be six weeks from now.

You read that correctly: six weeks.

It's not uncommon for them to go long periods without defecating (longer than you would expect is a good estimate). As long as he is feeding and voiding (urinating) he'll eventually defecate.

P.S. In case no one warned you their "urine" is solid. It's called urate and it will be white, chalky and pebble shaped. Sometimes it also contains yellow or green pieces.... don't freak out when you see it.
