Here is the model, the way I see it -- Academics train government wildlife managers. Academics must go hat in hand to government wildlife managers for grant money to operate. The "State" pays their salaries, for Heaven's sake -- the very people they groomed with their philosophy. It's a closed loop of wildlife management philosophy. A symbiotic relationship of one hand feeding the other. They're all in the same club. They're both dependent upon one another for their very justification and existence. [ Hide Replies ]
