Posted by: deadmouse at Thu Oct 23 17:44:24 2008 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by deadmouse ] I bought an axanthic male hatchling last year that had actually quite a lot of brown in him. Mainly on his head. After several sheds, the brown is now completely gone and he's a beautiful black and silvery gray So yes, hatchlings can be axanthic/anerythristic and still have brown which might disappear as mine did. Some adults could also gain brown as they mature too as also seen in some axanthic BP's. [ Hide Replies ]
