Anerythristic means lacking red pigment.

Axanthic means lacking yellow pigment.

Amelanistic means lacking black pigment.



Albino means lacking pigment. Unfortunately, this term is used to describe amelanism in the herp community even though most albino snakes still have pigment (reds/yellows).



However, these terms are thrown around rather loosely in the herp community.
