OK, now that I have that off my chest...



Some tricks / methods I use to get them to hold still for pics...



Pull them out of their enclosures and straight to the pic taking spot. Mine are very close to one another and quite often it's pick up and put down all in the same pile. If you have it out and then decide it's looking good after it's been climbing all over you fagedaboutit!!



For those that start moving before I can even put them down I use two methods to calm them, If it's just a little movement, Sometimes just cupping my hands over them and holding them in that small area (like a hide) will setle them down. If a bit more animated, I use two bowls with slots cut in the side. By aligning the slots it makes a doorway into the hide, once in rotate just one bowl to close the door, weight the top and leave for a minute or 5 while you clean a cage or something. When you pull the bowl you may have a minute or two to take pics.





Also, when they are in a pile, even if not showing off their best features, take several pics BEFORE you attempt to make ANY adjustments to their positioning. Sometimes moving them a little will launch them into "active, gotta cruise" mode.
