Stunted Growth

I recently acquired a couple of beardies that are real small for their age. They are supposedly six months old and are 9 inches and 11 inches. I have to assume they were not kept under the best of care due to their small size. They eat really well for me and I'd like to know if there is any chance that they will recover from this and attain normal size or if they are destined to remain small. Thanks in advance-Scott
