He had shown up on my front porch one chilly day a couple weeks before Christmas. The answer was a Texas Rat snake and that's clearly what he is. Thought y'all might like to see what he looks like now. He's currently about 5 1/2 ft long and 1400 grams. Typical Texas Rat personality, but lifted out of his tank on a hook he can be handled.
