So today I went to a local reptile show here in Chicago. I normally don't buy anything other than frozen rodents. Reason being that there isn't anything that interests me there. The highest end animals typically seen at this show are hypos, anerys, an occasionally an albino or 2. So I walked in and ran into a friend who pointed out another friend's table. He said "he has a couple of big albino females, go take a look!" So sure enough I walk over to the table, and my friend points them out to me. there is 2 albino females, maybe around 5 feet, maybe even slightly bigger. But looking at the one on the left, something jumps out at me..... Yellowish color, really tight bow-tie saddles, and no rings around the tail. Holy Moly, its a sunglow. Being that he is a friend of mine, I point out his error in calling it an albino. After talking for a while, I walked away assuming the sunglow would sell, considering he was asking a really cheap price for it. I came back to the table a while later and sure enough, the sunglow was still sitting there! Long story short, I wasn't really in the market for another sunglow, being that I already have several, plus all the hypo/albino motleys Ive been collecting recently, but I couldnt pass her up for the price..... I came home with a 5+ foot sunglow female for $400!!!!!!! He owned her for very cheap and didn't want to take her back home. Shes already eaten a large rat, to give you an idea of her size.... Here is some pics.... Definately not an albino! The flash washed out her colors, shes actually really bright and pretty!





Couldn't pass that deal up! Call it a bad market, call it a buyers market, call it whatever you want. I'll call it a "steal!"
