I got my 89th clutch the other day. What a long season balls have. These will hatch in the first few days of the New Year. I have had a few clutches in the last month.
How do you start cooling to breed when females have just laid?? My heat tape is still on high and almost all of the snakes are pounding food.

I used to breed Burmese on a large scale (600-800/year), they would all hatch in a two month span and I could get back to my business. Balls are a year round thing.

In December at the beginning of last season, I had 98 female over 1200gr, I had 89 clutches. That is a 90%, turnout.

BTW, this last girl is a normal that is a bit of a tramp. She was bred to a Bee, Pewter, Cinny and a Pin. The last breeding was in June. She laid nine eggs, averaging slightly over 100gr each.

Have a great 2009 season, I'll be starting mine late.
Mike
