In all honesty, I'm pretty darn full!!! I do have many open larger spaces but also have many sub adults coming up. Remember, my rainbow room (11' x 13' plus closet) currently has cage spaces for 50 adult BRB's along with 20-40 (depending on which tubs used) subadults. Plus several hundred babies.
Really, space for me is NOT the issue, it's how many spaces I want to keep up on cleaning.
I have in the past and will continue to in the future, sell off adults as necessary to make room for nicer specimens as they need space.
Clearly to me this year I produced many more top quality babies then ever before. MUCH higher percentages of the litters were keeper quality babies. That comes from generations of selective breeding. THOSE adults and babies are the ones that earn more of a permanent spot in my collection. The older original animals that produce only a few keepers here and there will have to move over. ----- Thanks,
Dave Colling
