Please help my snake wont eat

I bought a ball python about a month ago. It has eatin twice and was in what seemed to be a regular schedual of eating on saturday. I whent to feed her tonite and it would not take the rat. I've been feeding it frozen/thawed small rats and it seemed to to have no problems the past 2 times ive fed it. Im not sure why it wont eat. I think it wont eat because it looks like it is about to shed. Its scales have dulled and it looks like its close to sheding. Other than that it has seemed to be a verry healthy snake. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
