Same thing happen to me once and after searching for hours i found him at the back of his encloser trying to get back inside cause it was much warmer there then in my room.
Not sure if anyone sugested this cause i am way to lazy to read all the post. But try putting a hide out on the floor some place safe with a UTH under it. if he is cold that is where he will go if you are lucky.
