Like others here I've found them all over, warm or cold.... probably the worst was in a glue trap, but at least it slowed her down I guess...Don't forget to look "up".

I've never had to resort to the flour on the floor, but have read many times that it's helped.

Something I always thought that might work is to turn your ac on high & put out a couple heating pads with a hide on top.
