the talent...sure was lacking however there are a handful of promising young guns (carwin,valesquez,dos santos,lesnar) to name a few and with Elite going under Silva and Rogers would be decent additions. I know Randy had dreams of the Olympics but he won his fair share...you cant deny Brock is a athletic "freak" of sorts...its obvious that MMA is the fastest growing sport going..

As far as paydays go...the top tier fighters make pretty serious bank...like boxers? maybe not the top end guys but look where boxing is headed...Top MMA fighters are millionaires, are picking up endorsements,tv spots,movie rolls,etc etc etc..

MMA viewer wise is gonna be ahead of hockey, and no doubt posses a risk to baseball and basketball...
