Hognose help, Right forum?

I've had my hognose for about a year a little less. My tank set up is as follows...

It has a Uv light on it, and my house temp. is around 68-72 degrees.



Alright now the problem...

As its getting colder outside whether that matters or not my Hognose has stopped eating for nearly 1.5months now. I usually feed him pinkies and he has been eating them to this point he was few weeks post hatching when I got him and currently he is about 8 inches long. Kind of stuck my main question is should I get him a heat lamp and lose the shavings.Or any other suggestions?





(I was told up to this point that he didn't need a heat lamp but idk.)
