I think that even if you don't believe what you're seeing there are a lot more professional and grownup ways to go about it than to flame somebody. The guy admitted he came across it in unusual circumstances, doesn't deal much with pythons, and will give a money back guarantee. What more do you want?
In my experience with leopard geckos I have to say I have seen people come across some pretty strange things. What's to say a red gene wasn't expressed this time due to stress on the eggs, strange breeding, mutation??
I'm not saying I am convinced, but I'm not dead set against this being legit either, and I think it's a pretty big way to put your neck out when you've only seen a picture.
Not to mention, this guy has had them for 4 days. What if the lady who had them dyed them and he had no idea? I think he has taken enough steps to make sure people get what they pay for or get their money back. I'm personally excited to see what happens here because I think that if it is true and then breeds true as well we have a beautiful snake on our hands.
It is sad that the herp community has been made this cynical by people getting cheated.
