I've recently had to become very defensive in my ads and postings in this forum. Something I regret but because I was attacked for posting cherry picked balls at more than $10 or $20 I have no choice. I'm trying to defend my good reputation. One that I have worked very hard at developing over the last 8 years of breeding and selling snakes. My personal experience with big name breeders is that they avoid the controversy, sit back, and watch us battle but don't get involved. One on one at the shows, some bashing does go on. Your right, they don't want to develop a reputation for bashing. They want to be known for their honesty and integrity. Just like those of us that are willing to work hard to be successful in this hobby.

The $$$ in this hobby/business has attracted some less than desirable individuals, both resellers and new hobbyist. Those that seek overnight success, instant riches, etc. If you've got a new morph, a new product, and it's one that you have created, then you should not have any problem bringing it to market. Anyone that invest the time, effort, and $$$ to create something new will have the pics and data to show their work.

Take a look at these pics. When I found this female I just had to have her. I paid extra $$$ for this unknown. I took a few pics and sent them to Dan and Colette and asked their opinion. I got the right answer and advice. I will have to raise it, breed it, and possibly breed a male offspring back to this female to know for sure. If she turns out to be something, I will have no problem bringing it to market because I'll have the pics and data to show my work. If nothing comes of the project, oh well, at least it was fun and educational. Not every different looking ball is a new morph but you have to work the project to know.

I agree with you that it has gotten a little out of hand but I believe there are a lot of frustrated hobbyist/breeders out there that don't want to see this great hobby / business ruined.

Just my 2 cents.

Hope you like the pics. Comments are welcome.
