Texas is about 99% privatly owned , so when they made road hunting illegal they basically made it to where you can only hunt on private land with permission. There is very littl;e public land available to herpers here in Texas...sucks..BTW some good areas for nasicus nasicus is Odessa Midland area, good places for nice red Gloydi is north Texas along the Red River.
