can't see there being anything in the live pine tree that will be harmful to your snakes. Unless you put your snakes into the tree itself...

I expect you are more worried about bugs waking up in the heat of your home and being a danger to your snakes. Might get a few spiders and pine bugs but nothing major. I am of course assuming you live in a climate where winter is cold and snowy. If you live somewhere warm which doesn't get snow or freezing, there may be more bugs in the tree but again, doubt any will pose a threat to your snakes.

As for birds...don't know enough about them to say if they will have any problems.

If you are really worried, leave the tree in a warm place away from all your animals for a few days, then check for bugs on the tree or elsewhere in the room and dispose of them.
