'08 Pucallpa, Peru boas and more..

.. that is a Pucallpa, Peru redtail, F2 of wild-collected. It was born here this summer, and it's parents were born here over six years ago. It displays an odd combination of hypo-melanism plus some traits of the blood boas. These are side-by-side comparison shots of a normal Pucallpa redtail of that litter next to that one..

This next is a recent photo of their mother, a large 'normal' Pucallpa, Peru redtail.

This has been an interesting and rewarding long-term project... with no end in sight.
