I have been looking for some red flowers to feed my Rhinos, but I live in a climate (near St. Louis) where it is very cold already, (below frezzing at some point nearly everyday now). I suspect that it is probably not safe to feed them just any old rose petals because of the possible presence of pesticides. Would anyone out there have any suggestions where I could acquire some safe, red flowers to feed them given that I would have to buy them from someone during the winter? OR if you think it safe to feed them some roses I by from a typical florist, please let me know. | ||
