Silly Question Time

I'm sad that the most interestingly textured snakes (like, say, atheris hispida) are also hot. I love handling my snakes, it would be so cool to have something so bristly perched on my hand.



There's no 'pet-safe' snake I'm not thinking of, is there? The best I can think of is the hognose.
