Could not be more proud for you and Patty and Bruce, Tom!

I am trying to remember " the name Jeff brought up does not ring a bell, " but there was some guy that I talked to years ago from either Georgia or Alabama, that bred his Argentines outside and kept them outside all year around.

Says he built them burrows five plus feet underground and in the winter, they would go down in the burrows and of course five feet below is usually a stable 50 something degrees and on days were the sun would be bright in the winter, they would peek their heads out of their little holes that led to their burrows to allow the sun too warm them a bit.

He swore that it worked great for him and the Boas never got sick?

I just cannot remember who his name was?

I just remember how intrigued I was when I talked to him several years ago.

If it actually worked, Argentines would IMO be the only South American Boid that could handle that and be kept that far North.
