Hey guys sorry it took so long to reply. Me and the guy that got me into snakes, Frank DiCarlo, bought a group of boas from Dr Bran Ritchie from UGA. They came with outdoor cages and some indoor cages. The out door cages where 9'x9'x8'. They where made of 1/4" hardware cloth in 3'x8' panels. The top was also hardware cloth. The indoor cages where made with exterior sliding glass doors that were sectioned off into 3 spaces. He suggested keeping the outdoor enclosure well shaded but still well exposed. The boas would go out when the day time highs averaged 80. Late April early May and then bring them in when the night time lows hit 50. We put very large hide boxes and used a "hog blanket" under one of them for heat if needed. We also had large branches and limbs which a couple of them seemed to like. When we first put them out we put the females in the big enclosure and we had one a little smaller for the males. Then in late August we put them together. It seemed the colder it got the less they wanted the heat. The other guy mentioned was Bert Langerworf. (I think that's how you spell it) He kept his Argentine boas out just about year round.
