I went through a very similar problem this past summer. Tests in my case showed Bacteria problems in the Boas system which appeared to lead to Bacteria sepsis. The Bacteria involved in my cases was Proteus and klebsiella. All Boas that regurged this clearish mucous type stuff died with in 48 hours of this regurge.Same symptoms as yours are showing, no eating, lethargy then regurge. In several Boas Amikacin was effective. Of course I can't recommend this treatment I'm not a vet. Although it might be better than doing nothing.I really don't believe Amikacin dosing could hurt the situation. If it is the same problem I had, by the time confirmation tests come in ,its too late for several Boas.Especially if your experiencing same or similar problem as I had.
Only thing I could link my problem to was the rats. In Boas that experienced problems .They were all fed either black or black and white rats. I believe it maybe Black hooded rats and Zucker type rats with genetically higher fat levels. Even if these rats don't appear like big fat Rats. I think they have higher fat levels and it creates a bacteria bloom in your Boa. Other wise I cannot come up with any other explanation in my case.
I would get that mucous into the vet for confirmation as to what is in the mucous.
If I knew then what I know now,I would've started Amikacin injections right away.
