I have 2.2 adult Nicaraguan boas and this year I've been trying to breeding them. Sexes were kept separatly.

In November, I started to cool down my entire collection (decreased daytime lighting also). A month later I put 2 males to one female (the bigger, more mature one). In this month I've witnessed several courtships by both males, altough no copulation were observed. About a week ago I started to elavate their day time temperature slightly. They really loved that, it seemed they were looking for the heat and were fed with moderate food items. Since then, both males had entirely lost their interests, one of them is in shed now (so is the female, altough no ovulation has occured).

Maybe they will restart to court after shedding? Maybe I started to raise the temp too ealy? Maybe they are waiting for the "spring time warm up"? I'm wondering..

Any opinions would be appreciated.
