New spider ball

I have wanted a ball python for a long time and today i got my first one. I got a spider morph from my local herp shop. He is about 2 months old and has great color compared to other spiders i have seen (half way white). I was wondering, what could i do with him as far as breeding? and is there anywhere online where i could read about the genes of ball pythons? It seems really complicated. I need some help.



Also he seems really nervous in his new cage even though its almost the same one at the store. I will try to feed him a mouse tomorrow, should it be alive or dead?
