I've had my male python since November of '06. He's 2.5 years old, a nice size, and always been a big healthy boy. I've never had any problems with him taking mice since he was 4 months old, even when he was in shed. I gave him two mice a month ago, he killed both but only ate one. He hasn't eaten since. He shows some interest in the current mice, watching them a bit but he quickly loses interest and goes into his hide. I've never had him refuse live prey before. He's also avoiding his heat source in the tank. He's lost just a little weight but is otherwise fine. Does it have something to do with the season or is he just making me worry?
