Hello

I have a jungle carpet python. He is about 6 years old. Around 8 feet long and a wonderful pet. He only tried to bite me once when he was around 3 feet long and it was my fault. He was in feeding mode.

I can basically handle him anytime, even when he is in shedding mode, but I don't. Just leave him alone till he sheds. He likes to hang out on his branches and little shelf I made for him. Other times he likes to be in his big round hide area.

I've read baby carpets are biters and some carpets can be hard to get into feeding rats. "Safari" is a great pet. I got him at a local shop and the previous owner was a school teacher so he was handled by kids alot I was told.
