I believe she was just trying to make sure that she buried her eggs well. I noticed that with my female too after she laid her eggs...she pushed the eggs with her snout and tried to pack them altogether in one place before covering them with soil. Not sure if that was the real reason, but the eggs turned out OK and hatched.

BTW, thanks to BDlvr for your advice when I had a related inquiry back in Sept. Never got the chance to thank you coz I moved to a new place. I had a 100% hatch rate. Better late than never...-chuckpb
