Posted by: mpollard at Wed Jan 7 23:10:35 2009 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by mpollard ] My BCI tend to breed anywhere from August through May for the most part. I seem to have early and late litters every year, as well as some during the "normal" time. My husbandry practices promote a wide "window of opportunity" as Jeff Ronne calls it. So, I introduce them periodically throughout the year and let them do their thing when they want to as opposed to when I think they should. I suppose they know what they are doing better than I do.
