I know what you mean. The most important thing to to enjoy this hobby. I got my first snake when I was 8 i'm now 30 and things like watching them eat or shed still amazises me just as much now as it did then. I'm even a reptile keeper at a zoo and after 40 hours a week i still come home and enjoy my herps at the house. I was lucky to meet a woman who loves herps as much as me and we get hours of enjoyment in setting up cages feeding and going to shows and our hope is that we are already instilling a love of animals in our 8 month son.
