Also, the diacetate form can be used to clean wounds as well, but must be diluted down to a concentration of 0.05% before it can be used for this purpose. If you were using a 2% stock solution for example, this would be a 1 to 40 dilution with sterile water or distilled water. It’s really a matter of choice, but the diacetate form is slightly more effective for disinfection and wound cleaning purposes when diluted appropriately. [ Hide Replies ]
