From brazos ben state park, near the Houston metro area.
3-4' in length (approx)
different gator, similar size, on land
that one was probably 6-7', it just sort of bubbled up through the murk way to close for comfort! I only got a hurried shot of it.
I was *way* too close to that one for my camera to get a good shot, and it splashed before I could fix it for another shot. Was probably 1-2' away from me, was a baby, less than a foot long. I'd stepped of the trail to try to look for a frog I'd heard calling and there he was...
