I'm going to say,..... That's not an ovulation.



First, it looks like she's in shed cycle. Boas don't normally shed and ovulate at the same time.



Then the posistion of her body. A boa that's ovulating isn't capable of being in that posistion. The ovulation would prevent that. Boas that are ovulating are normally laying out straight. Ovulations "look" very uncomfortable and even "painful". I don't know if it is, but I've felt a female boa that was ovulating once. Her body was very solid and she had so much scale seperation, I thought she would explode.

The scale seperation you're seeing could be from the fact that her body is folded, forcing the scales to seperate.



Does this mean she's "hasn't" ovulated??? Not really. She could have already ovulated and you missed it. This shed cycle "could" be her POS.



It's all about what you've observed.
