I don't know what the best is...I guess the question is, "Best for what?"



I love the exotic look of Niles and I hear the Cubans are easy to condition, but my favorite has to be the simple American Alligator. It's the only species I've worked with and probably the only one I'd feel confident handling! I went to U of FL, so gotta have some gator love there, too. But honestly, the real reason I enjoy the gator is because I've grown up around them and I see them around here all the time. I can appreciate them up close as a native species and observe them in their natural habitat as well as in captivity (I do have a 2yo gator).
