It is normal to turn blue then clear up before shed. With it being a rescue, Once shed, I'd check that shed for eyecaps - make sure they came off with the shed. Sometimes they stick. Also, if the skin looks dry and or crappy make sure to keep the cage a little more damp until after the shed to help. ----- Thanks,
