There used to be a strain of albino Easterns that derived from a snake found in a non-herp pet store. IIRC, the snake was brought into the pet store gravid, laid eggs, the eggs hatched and there was/were albino(s) in the litter. Someone bought the whole litter and mother.

This is was in SC sometime in the late 80s/early 90s, I believe.



Even if it isn't the first - it's a cool snake!
