There might be something wrong with your heater if your getting smells from it. I use oil filled heaters and never got any head aches or smells from them. If you want a good one which is what i use in my reptile room go to Delonghi.com they have the best oil heaters around and thay have thermostats that will save you money (Believe me on that)and there not exspensive at all.
