it's hard to give you an answer without more information, how big is the boa? How often are you feeding it?

Generally, IMO it's better for boas to give one appropriate sized food item every 1-3 weeks depending on the boa's age. Some snakes, like rat snakes, enjoy getting multiple smaller items, but for boas I stick with 1 prey item at a time, 2 at the most. Either way, it should only leave a bulge in the snake and not make it look too bloated.

A power fed snake will start to get pudgy and look like an overstuffed sausage with a 'squishy' feel to them. They tend to also look pin-headed where the body is big but the head just looks too small.
