So I have had some time to clear my head and wanted to share what I did for a nice healthy litter while it was still fresh in my mind.

I think that 18 babies , 1 stillborn and no slugs (unless the female ate them) is a pretty darn good ratio and am now very happy for my extensive record keeping.

So heres a timeline

So I looked through my photos and found this

Dated AUgust 15th 2008

Male motley hemipenis

Now I missed the ovulation and actually thought she was gravid alot earlier and had an original Due date of just after Haloween based on the previous shed. So when she was ovulating I may have thought she was just full of babies.

My room temps were dropped in mid september slowly to 77 and heatpads to 92 with a night drop of 7.

Then after thinking she may be due soon I raised everything back up in mid October to Room temp 85 and heat pads 95 with a night drop of 6 which stayed pretty well constant till now which may be the reason for all the late dates.

Copulation observed August 15th

POS September 14th 30 odd days later

Babies January 27th nearly 134 days after the POS

I misted her quite often near the end as it was a good way to ensure hydration and she was so placid I could literally stick my head in the enclosure and watch her drink off her coils.

I started to get worried and after some advice had raised her temps by 3 degrees that night to enduce labour, which obviously worked so thanks Wayne for that advice!

And The end result
