Here's a pic of my set up (picture is over 2 years old).I've got 3 boa constrictors and a leucistic texas rat snake. The current sizes are: Silverback Boa: nearly 8ft. Columbian: 5ft. Long tailed peruvian: 4ft. Rat snake: 2ft. I've got my longicauda and rat snake in the split middle cage but my longtailed is getting too cramped in there so I need a new cage. I plan to get rid of that stand and get a boaphile pedestal because if I added another cage it would be too high.

For the new cage I plan on getting the 4ft boaphile except the one that is 17.5" tall and has a shelf. This would be the cage for my rat snake. Now the thing that kind of bugs me is that I will have this huge cage for my 2ft rat snake while I have an 8ft boa in a smaller one. Would my biggest boa benefit from that extra vertical space and shelf?

The reason I planned on getting that cage for my rat snake is that they are slightly more arboreal and I think if I put some nice branches in there it would be fun to watch her climb between the different levels. So what do you guys think?
