However the issue is only an issue because they are snakes and most people hate snakes. I remember very well when I lived in Tampa we had those pesky Quaker parrots build a 4'round nest on the electric pole in my neighbors back yard, the nest caught fire and the flemes spread to their roof which burnt 1/3 of the house down.

Funny how the green anole (chameleon) never got any air time when the more aggressive brown anole was introduced some forty plus years ago. I remember as a child the greens were everywere and by my teen years you hardly saw them anymore.
