I am admittedly pretty ignorant in this area, but it seems like it would help if there was a large unified exotic animal adoption organization to take care of unwanted pets. I know there are countless small rescues all over the country, but are they connected at all? It seems to me that if there was one large reliable source that could take unwanted pets, or at least an organization that could link the many smaller ones together, it would be a much stronger point on our side...

Are there any things like what im talking about? I know that it would be hard to create something like this as its not exactly profitable, but if regulations are really getting to this point then it seems like something that should be given good consideration.
