Bamboo decoration

I added a little bamboo forest to my cage. I found the bamboo on a pile of stuff that was being thrown away, yard clippings.
I stuffed the hollow ends with expanding foam so no mouse, snake head or bugs could get inside. I sanded them lightly and sprayed them with some clear enamel. I cut them all to be exactly one inch shorter than the inside of the cage.



I suspended each one from a board like a wind chime so they are not attached at the bottom. They hang all the way to the substrate so they look like they are growing out of the floor. A snake can’t get tangled up in them, because they easily move if I need to pull a snake out of them.



Here’s what it looks like in the cage. The substrate is pine bark nuggets under the bamboo.



Makes a nice decoration for the cage.



Can’t beat the price!
