Thanks. You really notice the details. I am a little fanatical about following the rules, I always try to exceed the requirements. You should see my bite protocol notebook!
The tags I use are loosely attached to the locks, so you can’t remove them without taking off the lock first. I can quickly see if a cage is unlocked by seeing a tag missing.
One side of the tag, as pictured has
DANGER
venomous snake
Do not open cage
See details on reverse of this slip
On the back, which you can’t see in the picture, it says,
Warning
do not open cage
Contents of cage:
Common name
Scientific name
Additional information in Bite Protocol Notebook
Danger Venomous Snake
My bite Protocol Notebook is right on top of the cage and has the contact numbers to venom one, emergency numbers, bite protocol for each snake, anaphylaxis notes, care sheets, identifying pictures, my permit, critical incident plan, receipts for the snakes with the sources of my animals, etc. It is semi-impressive.
Here’s a couple of pictures of the same sort of tags I use on my transport boxes too.

I’m responding because this is more important than a bunch of sticks!
