If one takes the time to read the bill, They should also think about the welfare of the animals. I remember the conditions of some of the exotic animal wholesale houses in south Florida back in the 80's

In fact I remember the smell that could be detected from the street. Imagine how they were being kept in the countries of origin with little to know regulations and inspections.

I worked with a retired Florida fish and game officer who did animal removal as a supplement to his income, we went to a school yard to remove some large snakes. Sadly there were 11 large Retics all dead and all had been cut open to remove some contents more than likely drugs.

I have had the mis-fortune to see just how low people will stoop to make a dollar.

I believe that most the people who choose to let a snake or any animal into the wild after the new has worn off, will more than likely purchased them at a pet store. I worked in pet stores for more than a decade in my younger days and pet stores count on the impulse buyer. Many pet store employees do not have the proper knowledge to sell such animals. There are of course exceptions as I know of a couple store owners that educate their employees.

Through the actions of the few, the masses will answer and in the end the few will still continue

Speak out.
