The typical way to breed a pair is to leave them in the cage together for 3 day periods. They will breed a couple times during that period. Then you give the male a 2-3 day rest and re-introduce them. Some people do it for a week at a time with breaks in between. Most people keep it up until they know the female is gravid or until they have seen a lock up for sure.



Now, I am not speaking for everyone and some people may do things a little different.
