Yes. There was an article on this in the "Herp Question & Answer" part of "Reptiles" magazine several years ago.

The question was asked by one of the largest snake breeders in the United States.

Apparently this sort of thing does happen on occasion, but it is unclear as to why.



I wouldn't bet on either of those males laying fertile eggs though...
